Our Services
As a long time ASHI certified inspector (American Society of Home Inspectors) Ron is always taking seminars/courses to further his knowledge and to keep updated on the latest developments in the inspection profession.
He maintains an extensive research library and has access to ASHI Nationals research library.
Most of Ron's inspections come from (word of mouth) past-satisfied clients, their family, friends and Attorneys. Many Real Estate brokers, who
usually represent the seller, do not refer Ron because they know he works for his buyers and does not rely on them for business.
Ron does not use the Checklist type of report because they can be short, 5-10 pages of boxes checked off, no extensive details and hand scribbled notes that can be difficult to read.
The following are some of the ways Ron can help you make this important financial decision:
- At the beginning of the inspection, Ron will give you a free copy ($35.00 value) of a 350-page book,"Mr. Fix-it" by Tom Feiza, a guide on "How to operate your home."
- The report he gives you is approximately 25-50 typewritten pages ,with pictures of defects that show you what he observes, what you should do to correct the problem, and give you his opinion as to the condition. Ron's reports will explain the various parts of the system and what their functions are. He will give you the age and normal life expectancy of various items so
that you may compare the normal life range with the actual age of the item.
- All reports are emailed within a 24 hour period.
- He also will take digital photos when possible of deteriorated areas he feels are warranted.
- Reports will have pictures of problem areas in order to help you better understand problem areas. A picture is worth a thousand words as they say.
- Visually inspect all easily accessable areas of the property. (If there
are
defects that an untrained eye overlooks, it could be an expensive
mistake).
- Perform a Mini-Energy Audit - Free.
- Use a moisture meter, gas leak detector, carbon monoxide detector,
pressure
gauge, thermometer, and GFCI outlet detector when needed.
- The inspection and report is a teaching guide helping you understand how
your property functions.
- The report is confidential. Only YOU get a copy. We don't discuss the
report with anyone except with our client.
- A guarantee that we will be available to answer your questions for as long
as you own the property.
- Ron's professional inspections are competitively priced.
- Always keep in mind YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR when you hire a property inspector.
You are actually hiring an individual inspector, not a company.
